Speaker:
Anahita Firouz, local author of In the Walled Gardens: A Novel
Born in Tehran, Anahita Firouz witnessed a turning point in the history of Iran - the Revolution- that completely changed the lives of everyone she knew.  In 1982 she moved with her husband to the United States and now lives in Pittsburgh and has spoken to many audiences in the Pittsburgh area.

  • Almond Crusted Chicken -- Boneless chicken breast coated in toasted almonds and fresh with bread crumbs laced with maple-Dijon sauce
  • Herbed Scrod Nantua -- Fresh day boat fillets flecked with fresh herbs, broiled in lemon and white wine, laced with a delicate shrimp and boursin cheese sauce
  • Verde Crepes -- Thin egg crepes filled with spinach, broccoli, basil and zucchini, topped with a pesto cream sauce

Cost:
Members, non-members, students:  $25.00  
Parking is available at the University Club for $3.50.
